 Benefits of our room controls over conventional Thermostatic Radiator Valves (T.R.Vs) :
 

Program individual rooms for TIME (this is crucial) and TEMPERATURE and save a huge amount of money by not heating rooms you are not using. You don't have to do anything differently to your daily routine as the system runs itself. No more remembering to turn down radiators in each room when you leave them. You switch your lights off when you leave a room but what about the radiators?

 

The thermostats are placed away from the radiator (crucial) and they will pick up other heat sources (e.g  if a wood burning stove is on) the thermostat will adjust the radiator down according to how much heat is picked up from these sources so rooms will not overheat. Heat rises which means the thermostats upstairs will not have to open the radiators so much to get to required room temperature. The raditors will be automatically adjusted to account for this. This gives huge money savings. .  Even top T.R.V manufacturers say that (in many instances) conventional T.R.Vs will shut off early as they are measuring temperature by the pipe at the radiator as opposed to the centre of the room. Our system measures temperature at the thermostat by the person and not by the radiator pipes or behind curtains/furniture!

 

You do not have to go to the radiator and manually turn radiators up and down as our room thermostats can be placed where ever you are in the room (or screwed to the wall if you wish). Many people have recognised the fact that they would not walk to the radiators to turn a valve up or down. The fact that you can do this from your chair has saved homeowners hundreds of pounds over the years. They say they turn the light off as it is accesible but would not go to each radiator to turn them up or down. 

You will have separate room thermostats in other rooms communicating with the radiatiors in those rooms,  e.g your bedroom will be programed to come on at a different time and temperature than your lounge so they are not being heated at the same time. Again the control can be placed on a bedside cabinet where it is easy to reach.

 

 To Over-ride the system (as you may stay longer in the room than you had programed it for) simply spin the wheel. It will over-ride your settings until the next programed "on" or "off" time and then run to the settings you have set.

 

The system cleans the radiator valve  once a week giving un-interrupted water flow and prolonging the life of the valves.

QUITE IMPRESSIVE?  ...A savings update.  We have received savings data from three schools in the last two months. They are Cirencester University and St John The Evangelist, a Carterton School. We took three years previous usage of kwh spent on heating to get an average use per month. In the month of September Cirencester saved 82.5% from their heating bill and in October St John the Evangelist saved 50.43%Woodstock School in Oxfordshire achieved a 39.12 % saving for November 2015. In December 2015 St John The Evangelist saved 45.05% from their heating bill. All we did was change their existing TRVs to our system. These are actual usage figures not estimated readings. For the Month of May 2016 Witney Community Primary school had huge savings compared to previous May usage and ejoyed a reduction in kwh usage of 74.5%. May 2016 was also historically cold.
